The Bushwick Collective 2016

What a pleasure it was to walk around Bushwick yesterday and see artist's painting and getting ready for the block party this Saturday, June 4th, beginning at 11 am. I bumped into both Danielle Mastrion and the drone that is filming her work, only to see my man Solus getting buffed over to create a new wall this year. Killed me to see it getting buffed, but I know change has to happen....

I have been attending TBC for the past few years as I admired seeing blocks and blocks of murals. I can see the lineup is strong again this year and on Friday evening, at 7 pm, doors will open for a special Art Exhibition, "Beyond the Walls" where art can be purchased with 100% of the sale going to the artist's themselves.
